Movie review “Special Forces”

Experience a movie that has the Special Forces.

a French Rambo-esque war film that offers an amusing contemporary view of Afghanistan, ultimately giving viewers a heart-pounding emotional thrill ride. The film stars Helen of Troy herself, Diane Kruger, as a war correspondent who is taken hostage by the Taliban. Faced with her imminent execution, a team is dispatched to free her. Members of the Special Forces squad are Djimon Honsou of Blood Diamond and Denis Menochet, who is most recognized as the French farmer who LT. Hans Landa interrogates in the opening scene of Inglorious Basterds.

In some of the world’s most breathtaking yet hostile landscapes, a relentless pursuit begins between her kidnappers who have no intention of letting their prey escape them and a group of soldiers who risk their lives in pursuit of their chivalrous aim to bring her home in one piece. This strong, independent woman and these men of duty are thrown together and forced to confront situations of great danger that inextricably bind them – emotionally, violently and intimately.

Its up to your movie judgement.

MOVIE REVIEW: EAT PRAY LOVE

I’m sooo 2010, I know. I’m gonna spare you my rantings about how outdated I am. Let’s get on with the movie.

  • I love how Julia Roberts is the perfect choice to the role of Liz. The look and the emotion, she nailed it.
  • Italian men are hot.
  • I want to visit Rome.
  • Ketut Liyer is cute. I want to adopt him.
  • James Franco is a little less cute on the movie.
  • Javier Bardem looks like a barbarian of some sorts but in a hot way.
  • I hate it that this movie made me realize my deep seated emotional and spiritual crap.
  • Now I want to travel and do this Eat Pray Love thing…
  • And read the book.

MOVIE REVIEW: BEASTLY

It was basically an adaptation of the Disney’s Beauty and The Beast. Err… That’s it. Lol!

So let me just chop it for you:

  • Vanessa Hudgens is cute.
  • Alex Pettyfer is some kinda hot.
  • Mary Kate Olsen is a pretty witch.
  • The movie was blah.
  • But I still love Neil Patrick Harris.
